Description: This project is a storybook offering insights into the lives of four Indigenous 'Vedda' women in Sri Lanka. Each story is built from semi-structured interview excerpts and fieldwork observations, emerging from long-term relationships between our research team and Vedda communities. Together, the stories illustrate how Vedda women experience and respond to climate change impacts in diverse ways. Through this project, we aim to center and uplift Indigenous women's voices and advocate for more just and inclusive climate adaptation policies and planning by highlighting their perspectives, experiences, and knowledge.
